Our Lady Queen Of Saints
Home School Support Group
Our Lady Queen of Saints activities include:
- Mutual support through prayer, and the sharing our of time, talent, and treasure.
- Monthly parent support group meetings featuring different topics to help families in their Home Schools.
- Annual Convocation Mass to start the school year, followed by a family picnic at a local playground.
- Don Bosco Educational Co-op offers classes in the Spring and Fall of each year. Co-Op members enjoy the benefit of our group membership to EnchantedLearning.com
- Every November our families attend a Thanksgiving Luncheon to share our gratitude for all of God's gifts.
- Monthly game and playground days offer a chance for Catholic homeschooled kids to meet and play together.
- At our Monthly Rosary Club families pray together and make rosaries for the missions.
- Members of OLQOS enjoy full access to our Member forum for support and encouragement.
- Various educational and just-for-fun field trips with other families.
- Our Spring Showcase is the year's highlight! Families can show off the year's work to friends and relatives, and kids get to perform on stage.
- In May we host an end-of-year Mass followed by a May Crowning to honor the Queenship of our Lady.
- Our benefits also include a 15% discount on HSLDA membership. Members of Our Lady Queen of Saints are eligible to join HSLDA at a discount rate. We are satellite members of the CHIME Home school group, and share their discount.
